Figured these little oddities from my "misc" pile might be better off with other people, so put em up on ebay.
A random Wormwood unfinished sketch.
A magazine illo job from a ways back.
And a random old Star Scream drawing of him all busted up. Enjoy.

Phoenix Con
got back from Phoenix con on the weekend and had quite a blast. Saw many old as well as new faces and caught up with some fine people.
Here's a few shots of art I did during the con, plus a couple other things...and for no apparent reason, my favourite current T-shirt at the bottom.
Sorta Kinda Wormwood
Close but no cigar. A valiant attempt.
Wormwood Tattoo
Am guessing it's from his own drawing, but Randy wanted me to sign it and then go and get that tattooed also.
Wormwood Phoenix Con Commission
I can only manage to do commissions at cons, otherwise deadlines & guilt stress would make it too hard to take on any more regularly. Hope you like the finished image.
I was told to write this. Never read the book.
Err, Nick Cave?
Sorta tried, with very little reference at hand.
I like my Obama T-shirt.
Win or lose, I liked it, but lost it during the whole election and inauguration stuff. Found it today.
The Obaminator: "I'll be Barack".

More GROOM LAKE Interiors
More sneak peek shots or some original art for issue #1 of GROOM LAKE. If you like aliens, mutating crotches & giant robots, this book is for YOU. Ahem.
As usual, the odds of seeing a copy on your retailers shelf is nowhere near as high as the next Spider-man or X-men comic...so you have to tell them you really want one of these suckers. Tell em the diamond order code is: JAN094293
Then with luck, in March when the book actually comes out, you'll have your very own copy of gray alien area 51 conspiracy porn. Not only that, but writer Chris Ryall & I will blow you kisses or something like that. We will be your BFF's.
No, really. We will.
EDIT:
Actually...here's something I forgot to mention that i only just learned... they're breaking it up a month so that once people actually see #1 THEN they can order #2 and go from there...rather than ording a #2 with no idea if #1 is even any good...which is the way comics are usually put out! It's an interesting strategy but I had no part in the decision to do it. Am curious if it will make a difference.

GRAN TORINO- the asian pirate cut
Where to begin...
I bought this while in Thailand.
You'll have to click the image links to see the notes I put on them. Basically there's very very few actual images from the actual film used on the cover. The others appear to have been added to "spice it up a little". Yeah, because Gran Torino needed it obviously. Every film needs random explosions and shotgun wielding teenybopper model chicks.
Gran Torino is actually one of those "great" films and I am pretty sure I'll be picking up a proper DVD soon. I just love the cultural oddities of asian pirates! ( They did a better design job on their cover for 30 Days of Night than the official one too! )

This Tuesday.
Since it's coming out soon after the Obama Inauguration, and since Boss Honcho Chris Ryall jogged my memory, figured now as a good time as any to show a couple more of the presidents from the Presidents of the US book!
If you still want to make sure you get a copy and not sure if your retailer will have any, it's ISBN is 1600103448 and it's Diamond order code was NOV084121
And yeah, I've shown Bush before, but he get's one more time, since he'll be history on Tuesday, which for the vast majority couldn't come soon enough. So for this post, one of the worst & also, one of the best presidents of the US.

Doctor Who: The Whispering Gallery Interiors
Just got approval to show some stuff! So here's some various interior/working shots of a couple pages.
Leah Moore and John Reppion are writing it, I'm drawing the thing. A one-shot comic from IDW Publishing. Would make a cool tv episode if it weren't a comic.
Since it's damn hard to get things from the smaller publishers, if you want the book you may have to get your retailer to order it in specifically for you. If you still want one, it may not magically appear on the shelf, especially not in these tougher times. So you have to go tell your retailer you actually *do* want a copy and to make sure they get one for you.
Tell em it's Previews catalog order number is: DEC084084 and tell them you know some Daleks with abnormally sized genocidal plunger weapons...
You can also find an interview with Leah and John talking all things Who here. Check it out.

Almost my first image for 2009...30 Days Til Death #4
Except that I did 2 Doctor Who covers as well and of course, without approval I can't show them. So this is the first thing I'm allowed to show for 2009. I usually do a quick little doodle the first day of every year, just to get something done, but this year work completely snowed me under.
30 Days Til Death #4.
